Microbats and Megabats

There are two groups of bats. The two groups are microbats and megabats.

Many microbats live in America. They have brown bodies. One little brown bat can eat 600 insects in an hour. Microbats listen to echoes to find insects.

Megabats live in tropical places. Megabats are larger bats. They have large ears and eyes.

Megabats fly from plant to plant. They eat fruits from the plants. They spread seeds as they eat the fruit. They can eat a banana in 15 minutes.
