The Dance of the Eagle | page 2 |
One day, a starving Eskimo was hunting for food. He saw an eagle. Quickly, he pulled out his bow and arrow. He shot and killed the eagle. On his way back to the igloo, he felt sorry for killing such a beautiful bird. The hunter did not cook the eagle. He decided to save the body. He put the eagle's body on a special shelf at home. After that day, the hunter always asked the bird to share his food.
