Soon, Bellerophon had another wish. He wished to become a god. One day, he leaped on Pegasus and pressed hard in the stirrups. "To Mt. Olympus!", he yelled and pulled on the reins. But Pegasus would not go to Mt. Olympus. Pegasus threw Bellerophon on the ground and flew away. Only gods could go to Mt. Olympus and Bellerophon was not a god. Bellerophon never rode Pegasus again. He wandered the earth the rest of his life.
