Sinbad the sailor was always having great adventures. One day, he found himself near a large rock. However, he discovered that it was actually a gigantic egg. A large bird came down to pick up the egg. Sinbad tied himself to the bird's leg and was carried up into the sky. The bird landed and Sinbad quickly untied himself.

He was now in a large valley full of diamonds as big as his head. Suddenly, large pieces of meat fell down from the sky and were skewered by the diamonds. The birds picked up the pieces of meat containing the diamonds and flew away. Sinbad put some of the diamonds in his pocket and tied a piece of meat to his back so that the birds would pick him up.

Sinbad was dropped into a nest where he found a man. This man was dropping the pieces of meat so that he could collect the diamonds. He showed Sinbad how to get back home.

Sinbad is able to harness a bird by using his head and the tools he found lying around him. Another famous story about flight comes again from the ancient Greeks.
