Long ago, the Sun and the Moon fell in love and got married. They built a beautiful house on dry land. One day, they invited their friend, the Ocean, over to visit. As the ocean poured into the house, the Sun and the Moon were forced out on to the roof of their house. The Ocean still came rushing in, bringing fish and other sea animals into the house. The Sun and the Moon did not want to be rude by asking their friend to leave. So they climbed high into the sky to get away from all the water in the Ocean. They have stayed there ever since.
