Indy

Many people like to build or drive race cars. These cars go around a track over and over again. After a while the race ends and the fastest driver wins.

Race cars have big engines and strong tires. They have to be careful not to crash. Some race cars go so fast the wind lifts them up a little. This means the driver cannot steer very well. He might crash.

Dragster

Wings are put on some race cars. The wings are put on upside down. This helps push the car down on the track. The driver can control the car better.

Airflow over the race car is very important. Race car builders are trying many new things to help cars go faster.
