Kitty Hawk Travel Plans For July - Wednesday, June 19, 1901

The History: Wilbur wrote to Chanute to convey the brother's travel plans to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. "Owing to changes in our business arrangements we shall start our trip much earlier than we expected, probably not later than July 10th, if we get the material for our machine ready by that time."

Due to the early rescheduling of their trip, Wilbur asks Chanute if the brothers still may borrow Chanute's anemometer. "We can, if necessary, do without it", said Wilbur.

The "changes in our business arrangements" referred to the hiring of Charlie Taylor to work in the bicycle shop, which freed up the Wrights' time.
