Chanute Arrives At the Campsite - Sunday, October 5, 1902

The History: The rain started at 10 A.M. and lasted into the night.

Octave Chanute and Augustus Herring took a spritsail boat from Manteo and arrived about noon. The men talked most of the day and into the night, turning into bed at 10 P.M.
