Wright Again

Snow And Whirlwinds at Kill Devil Hills - Friday, November 27, 1903

The History: With the wind blowing 12-15 meters/second [27-33 miles/hour] and snow falling, the weather once again prevented Wilbur and Orville from testing their new machine, the Flyer.

In his diary, Orville recorded seeing numerous small whirlwinds [little spiral rotating windstorms].
