Wright Again

A Day Of Rest - Sunday, December 13, 1903

The History: Sunday was a day of rest for the Wrights. Although they were both agnostic, they respected their father's Sabbath.

Orville recorded in this personal; diary that he read most of the day. Later, Adam Etheridge from the Kill Devil Life Saving Station brought his wife and children to see the Wright's machine.

Adam Etheridge would be one of the witnesses of the first flight on December 17, 1903.
