More Practice In The 1902 Glider - Monday, October 5, 1903

The History: The Wrights continued to practicing "hovering" in their modified 1902 glider. Although the wind was only blowing at 6 meters/second [about 13 miles/hour], they brought the glider to Big Hill and made about 12 glides. Each glide lasted about 10-15 seconds in duration and only moved forward 75-100 feet.
