OBJECTIVES:
The Wright Brothers' lifelong interest in flight began when they were
young students. They built copies of a toy helicopter, but the larger
models they built did not fly.
Students are introduced to the forces of flight.
Students duplicate the actions of the Wright brothers
by building and experimenting with a toy helicopter.
Students
determine
reasons why the Wrights' larger toy helicopters did not fly.
