Magic Propeller
WHY? question_guy
The stick vibrates the pencil up and down, the finger of the child vibrates it sideways. These motions combine to turn the pencil and propeller in tiny circles. When the child moves their finger on the other side of the stick it changes the sideways vibrations and the direction of the spin.
