MATERIALS NEEDED
- pie plate
- candle (3 or 4 inches long, depending on size of jar)
- matches
- glass jar (pint or bigger)
- lump of clay

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

Attach the candle in an upright position to the pie plate.

Fill the pie plate with water.
|
 |
Light the candle.(Let it burn for a few minutes.)

Invert the jar and place it over the burning candle. Observe.
|
 |
Record your observations.
