4. Tape one corner of the top of the bag to the window.
5. Let the sun shine on the bag for a couple of hours, then
observe what you see.
WHY?
Water drops came from the water at the bottom of the bag because
no new water could enter the bag. The drops that came from the
bottom of the bag will fall back down to the bottom of the bag.
Water from the Earth evaporates and then returns back to the Earth
as precipitation.
ASSESSMENT: Can the student communicate what they observed?
4......Student is able to communicate that the rain that falls to
the Earth is a result of the water cycle. Water evaporates into
the atmosphere and becomes too heavy and returns in the form of
precipitation.
