A Hummingbird Compared to a Helicopter
WHY? question_guy
The world of "flying machines" has always fascinated man. In nature, the hummingbird is one of the most interesting. The hummingbird in many ways is very delicate, but at the same time has tremendous power in its two wings. The muscle structure of the hummingbird is different than other birds. Both of its flight muscles are large. Its unique style of flight is imitated by the helicopter with its horizontal rotor. Because flight is such an efficient way to travel, man is constantly looking for new ways to imitate the natural flying world of the bird.
