Even though we have made flying machines -airplanes, hot-air balloons, spacecraft, hang-gliders- we would still love to be able to fly without assistance. And that is the ultimate beauty of a bird in flight. He does it naturally and without any apparatuses. ASSESSMENT: Can the student communicate what they observed?
