Wing Shapes of Birds and Airplanes

WHY?

With the contour shape of the wing of a bird and airplane we can see how man has adopted his flight abilities from the bird. Because every part of a bird is adapted for flight man has been viewing these winged creatures in light of his own progress in flight. That is why a study of various birds in relationship to aircraft that man has developed shows how similarities can enhance the understanding of flight patterns around the globe.
