The Wing of A Pterosaur

MATERIALS NEEDED:

drawing paper

pencils

erasers

rulers

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

one Share pictures of Pterosaurs' cross-sectional shape of its wing, a diagram picture of its wing span and labeling. Place on the board in front of the class. Discuss the various parts.

two Ask the students to come up close and study the pictures to really get a good idea of the dimension of the wing.

three Then ask the students to draw a cross sectional shape picture of the wing of the Pterosaurs and a diagram of the wing as well. Make sure that the students label the diagrammed picture of the wing.

four Display the drawings on a bulletin board in the classroom.
