WHY?

Insect populations are always multiplying. Everywhere
you look you will find insects. The majority of insects have 2 wings in
their adult stage. They are always flying about. Creating a zoo in a
classroom affords the children an opportunity to see many insects
together. In this way they can view first hand the similarities and
differences between various insects. There will never be a lack of
insects in our world!

ASSESSMENT: Can the student communicate
what they observed?

Zoo and give at least four characteristics of each of the insects.
