More or Less in the Myth

MATERIALS NEEDED:
  • a myth written at grade level
  • index cards
  • pencil/pen

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

one Read the myth together.

two Discuss which things in the myth are more.

three Discuss which things in the myth are less.

six Make index cards to indicate which things are more and which are less.

five Match cards that are the same. Compare those that are different.

six Display the cards on a bulletin board.

seven Have the students draw a picture about their discovery of the things that are more and less. Make comparisons during the week and over a period of time.

eight Use other myths to discover more and less.
