- scissors for the children
- paste
- blank paper

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

The children get a copy of the pictures or the paragraph
of a myth where the sequence of events is obvious. |

Read the story or paragraph out loud with the children. |
 |
Discuss the sequence of events with the children until
they understand the sequence. |

Assess their understanding by having the children cut the
pictures or the paragraph into sentences. They mix up the pictures
or sentences.

 |
The children paste their final decisions about the
sequence of events on the blank paper. |
 |
Discuss the various answers from the children and what their
reasons were for their decisions. |
