EXTENSIONS:

Sorting and classifying walks:

Choose an aspect of the myth that you want to emphasize and arrange a walk; with the students to look for things that have that goal in mind. Suggestions: things that move, things that have feathers, things that fly, things that have a rough or smooth texture, old things, new things, things that have to do with air, things that are wet, etc. Talk about the things that are found with that attribute. Make a class book of the drawings or writings from the walk. Display the pictures, book or writings of the students.
