STEPS TO FOLLOW:

Discuss together the material under Science Concept and Teacher Text
with the students. Make sure that each student has at least a minimum
understanding of Newton's First Law of Motion.

Demonstrate the experiment for the students before dividing them up
into groups and answer any questions that they might have.
|
|
|
|
Divide the students into groups of three and pass out the equipment
that they will need to accomplish the experiment.
|
|
Go from group to group, encouraging the students to take turns,
follow the directions that were given at the beginning of the lesson, and
write down their observations after they do the experiment to share with
the rest of the class.
