- This is Bernoulli's Principle in action: Faster moving air from the hair dryer exerts a
lower pressure than slower moving air outside the airstream. If the ball move to the
edge of the blowing air. The low pressure at the center of the airstream "lifts" or pulls
the ball back into the center of the fast moving air.
