Balloon Puffs
WHY? question_guy
This is Bernoulli's Principle: faster moving air exerts a lower pressure than the air that is not moving. The faster moving air decreases the air pressure between the balloons. The air pressure on the far sides of the balloons is greater causing the balloons to move toward each other as the higher pressure rushes toward the lower pressure area.
ASSESSMENT: Can the student communicate what they observed?

two Student is able to communicate that the air pressure on the far side of the apples is higher and this pushes the balloons inward towards each other.
