The Mail window which you just visited should have had three
components. At the top is a tool bar,
The Get Mail button will go out and get your mail
from your mail
server,
a computer on the Internet owned
by your Internet Service Provider
that acts like the postman
except that it delivers your mail whenever you ask for it.
Netscape must first know where you mail server is so that you can
get mail. To see if things are set up correctly, try to
get your mail. If you see the message "No POP host has
been specified in preferences" then click
here. Otherwise,
you can get on with the tutorial.
