Computer Congratulations! Did you know you just "clicked" on something? When you "clicked" you pressed down and released the mouse button quickly. To "click on" something you use the mouse to move the pointer to the item of interest and then press down quickly and release the button. The pointer is the little arrow on the computer screen that moves as the mouse does. "Clicking" is used extensively to navigate through materials you'll find on the World Wide Web.

We designed this class with specific time limits, objectives and exercises in mind. Our intent is that you can go through this tutorial in an hour and a half and learn how to use the most important Internet tools and get started on K8AIT or explore the Internet. You can stop at any time and come back when you have the time. Or you can work on just the particular topic you are interested in.

In this tutorial, we do not assume that you have worked on the Internet before. We've had teachers and students with no training on the Internet test out this tutorial. They succeeded and became Internet explorers and so will you!
