Computer Links: Links are used to help you maneuver from one Web page to another page or from one part of a Web page to another part of the same Web page. Links can be a word or a picture. For example, the "click here" box, that you've already used is a link. You moved from the last Web page to this Web page when you clicked on the box. When words or phrases are used as links they are typically underlined and are a different color (usually blue).

When the pointer is moved over a link the arrow symbol will change shape to a pointing hand. Once you have used a link (clicked on it) the text and underline color will change signifying that you have "been there and done that" before - you have used that link before and that's just fine - no problem.

Pictures that are links often have a blue border around them like the one at the bottom of this page. Click on it to move to the next Web page of our guide.
