In order to systematize the investigation, we developed a series of experimental scripts outlining how we would proceed at each step. These scripts were developed by Principal Investigator Dr. Jani Pallis and John Yandell. They were then reviewed by members of the USTA Sports Science group including Dr. Paul Roetert, Dr. Howard Brody, the University of Pennsylvania Physics Professor, sports science committee member and leading expert in the physics of tennis, and finally Dr. Jack Groppel, Sports Science Committee Chairman.
